About The Position

As a Senior Lab Manager for the Foam Tapes and Fasteners business in IATD, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. In this role, you will make an impact by collaborating on defining and implementing the global R&D strategy, focusing on accelerating innovation and commercialization of new products. You will also increase NPI operational effectiveness and capacity to meet strategic targets, strengthen the NPI pipeline for a step change in launch cadence, support product engineering activities including Change Management Projects (CMP) and cost down initiatives, allocate R&D resources to the highest priorities, and build capabilities in relevant platforms including technology, product development, product engineering, customer insights, and intellectual property.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science related discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Significant R&D/innovation leadership experience
• Proficiency in English

• Proficiency in German
• Advanced science or engineering degree
• Experience with pressure sensitive adhesives
• Experience leading by influence with cross-functional partners
• Ability to communicate with and across all levels, and self-driven leadership
• Demonstrated experience with driving growth through new product development and commercialization
• Ability to build new capabilities and technology readiness to drive value and differentiation of the new product portfolio

Responsibilities
