Senior Java Full Stack Software Engineer
About The Position
Matrix Systems and Technology, Inc. (MSTi), established in 1996, provides IT and engineering services to federal, state and local government and commercial clients. Its services include software testing and quality assurance, project management, requirements analysis, implementation support and IT staff augmentation. The Senior Java Full Stack Software Engineer designs, develops, tests and maintains Java full stack applications and APIs. The role develops web interfaces and backend services, integrates application components, and works with MongoDB and relational databases, including Amazon Aurora/RDS. It also supports application deployment and troubleshooting in AWS environments. The engineer reviews code, guides technical decisions, mentors other engineers, and collaborates with requirements, testing and delivery teams to resolve issues.
Requirements
- Eight or more years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Hands-on Java full stack development experience, including front-end web technologies and backend services.
- Exposure to AWS, MongoDB and Amazon Aurora/RDS.
- Experience with API integration, database access and application troubleshooting.
- Ability to communicate technical decisions and collaborate with a delivery team.
