About The Position

Flexport IT is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to support its SaaS-based collaboration and endpoint management platforms. The role is responsible for configuring, integrating, administering, and supporting Google Workspace, Slack, Office 365, Confluence, Jira, Okta, Jamf, and Intune, and ensuring these platforms are secure, scalable, and optimized. The engineer will automate workflows, protect sensitive systems and data, mitigate security risks, maintain compliance, lead IT engineering projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide day-to-day operational and Tier 3 support.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable experience.
At least 3 years of experience supporting SaaS collaboration tools and Mac and Windows endpoint management.
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
In-depth knowledge of email delivery flow, IT security, and IAM concepts.
Understanding of RBAC and permissions models across core SaaS applications.
Scripting and automation experience.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Administer SaaS platforms and provide escalation support.
Implement and maintain policies, software deployment, patching, and security compliance for Mac and Windows endpoints using Jamf and Intune.
Own lifecycle management across core collaboration and endpoint management platforms.
Develop automation scripts and workflows to improve administrative efficiency and user experience.
Monitor system health, performance, and usage, and proactively resolve or escalate issues.
Collaborate with Security, Engineering, HR, and Legal to align and integrate SaaS tools with company infrastructure and processes.
Perform investigations and discovery across systems for Legal and HR.
Assist with vendor management and product evaluations.
Drive solutions and project work.
Onboard new applications for single sign-on.
Develop and maintain technical operating procedures, policies, and engineering roadmaps.
Work with the Security team to ensure the platform is designed and implemented according to security best practices.
Provide Tier 3 IT support.
