About The Position

Nightingale Veterinary Partners is seeking a hands-on Senior IT Specialist to join their team and help support the company through its next stage of growth. This role is ideal for a builder and hands-on technologist who enjoys solving problems, learning new systems, supporting people, and working in a fast-moving organization where no two days are exactly the same. This is a hands-on, in-office role based in New York City with regular travel to local Nightingale veterinary practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, connectivity, and end-user issues independently.
  • Comfortable working onsite and traveling to different locations to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Experience with user administration, account provisioning/deprovisioning, permissions, and employee onboarding/offboarding.
  • Practical understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including MFA, endpoint protection, backups, and security best practices.
  • Experience working with external technology vendors, managed-service providers, or other IT partners.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated reliability and job stability.
  • Proven ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with an existing IT team.
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving, and evolving organization.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience will be considered.
