Senior IT Systems Specialist

As Senior Systems Specialist, you’ll motivate, encourage, and grow a team of IT professionals, ensuring excellence in client satisfaction and service quality. Because you’re an expert in making things better, you’ll also recommend improvements to our existing strategy, security, and support processes. The ideal Senior Systems Specialist candidate has extensive server-level support experience and expertise in at least one other functional area, such as cloud services, security, and/or networking.
Requirements
- 4-year college degree (IT relevance preferred)
- 4+ years of IT support experience
- 3+ years of Windows Server experience
- 1+ years of Cisco switch experience
- Advanced competency in IP network switches, routers, firewalls

Responsibilities
- Help people and organizations maximize IT uptime and performance
- Provide Tier II/III support for internal systems and client networks
- Mentor support staff
- Assess a variety of technology problems and resolve in a timely manner
- Remote access implementation and support
- Manage and troubleshoot Office 365
- Document activities, steps to resolution, and process improvements
