About The Position

The Senior IT Support Specialist serves as the primary technical support resource for the organization's workplace technology environment. The role is responsible for supporting Microsoft 365 services, endpoint devices, user access management, SharePoint Online, automation solutions, technology inventory, and security awareness platforms. The Senior IT Support Specialist serves as the primary internal escalation point for complex technology issues and works closely with the organization's managed service provider (MSP) and managed security service provider (MSSP) to maintain secure, reliable, and effective technology services. The position provides hands-on support for staff, volunteers, service centers, camp properties, Cookie Program operations, and other organizational technology needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience supporting endpoint devices, workplace technologies, Microsoft 365 services, or related technology support functions.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint Online, and endpoint management solutions.
  • Experience managing user accounts, device deployments, software licensing, and technology inventory.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and collaboration technologies.
  • Experience working with managed service providers, technology vendors, and distributed operations.
  • Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint Online, and related cloud services.
  • Endpoint management, device lifecycle administration, and mobile device management.
  • User account administration, multifactor authentication, and access management.
  • Windows operating systems, endpoint troubleshooting, and collaboration technologies.
  • Technical documentation, inventory management, and software licensing practices.
  • Information security principles, endpoint security, and security policy compliance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting security awareness and phishing simulation programs.
  • Experience supporting nonprofit, camp, warehouse, retail, or other multi-site environments.
  • Experience leading technology deployments, equipment refresh projects, or operational technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day administration of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint Online, Power Automate, and other workplace technologies.
  • Manage the employee technology lifecycle, including account provisioning, device deployment, software licensing, and equipment replacement.
  • Provide hands-on support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and deployment of end-user technology, including laptops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, conference room technology, and related equipment.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and coordinate resolution with the MSP, MSSP, vendors, and service providers.
  • Manage technology inventory, asset tracking, procurement coordination, equipment assignments and equipment lifecycle activities.
  • Support identity and access management processes, device compliance activities, security awareness initiatives, and information security requirements.
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, Power Automate workflows, technical documentation, and support procedures.
  • Provide onsite and remote support for service centers, camp properties, meetings, events, and organizational programs.
  • Coordinate technology deployment, equipment inventory, setup, and support for Cookie Program warehouse and distribution operations.
  • Support audit, compliance, business continuity, and technology governance activities related to assigned systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
