About The Position

Ensures the maintenance of software and hardware; implements new or updated software modules. Ensures that support is provided for all end-user equipment including, desktop, laptop, printers, scanners and hospital equipment. Ensures that service level commitments and deliverables are met.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for site-to-site travel
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across both software and hardware
  • Strong time management skills – ability to prioritize and manage a multi-site schedule efficiently
  • Self-starter mentality – proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working autonomously in the field
  • Customer service orientation – professional demeanor with a commitment to delivering excellent end-user support
  • Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in desktop/hardware support or field engineering
  • Healthcare IT experience – background supporting clinical or hospital environments
  • Epic EHR experience – hands-on familiarity with Epic systems and workflows
  • Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Suite
  • Experience supporting Lenovo, HP Printers, Dell and Apple hardware
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar)
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks or ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)

Responsibilities

  • Installs, configures, and tests client workstations and related hardware and software.
  • Diagnoses and resolves all hardware and software issues across a range of devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, iPads, and scanners.
  • Recommends, plans, and implements performance upgrades to PC boxes, including but not limited to installing hard disks, ribbon cables, hard drives, motor boards, memory chips, and CD-ROMS.
  • Collaborates with lead technicians and supports service line operation initiatives and program development.
  • Assists with the implementation of IT strategies.
  • Maintains current knowledge of system(s) information, changes, updates and emerging technologies.
  • Escalates issues between applications and other interfaced systems and infrastructure and assists with investigation and resolutions.
  • Provides hands-on support and training to end users.
  • Performs related duties as required.
