About The Position

The Senior IT Project Manager will support a New York State government agency in Albany, New York. This is a 30-month engagement with day-one onsite work. The role involves monitoring analysis, design, and development activities; helping develop detailed work plans; creating and executing project management plans; facilitating meetings and work sessions; coordinating risk and issue resolution; and communicating project information and status to multiple stakeholders. Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams are used in the role.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience monitoring tasks for analysis, design, and development activities and assisting in developing a detailed work plan.
• At least 7 years of experience creating and executing project management plans, including communication and risk/issue management plans.
• At least 7 years of experience facilitating meetings and work sessions.
• At least 7 years of experience coordinating risk and issue resolution.
• At least 3 years of experience using Azure DevOps for work task tracking.
• At least 3 years of experience using SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
• At least 5 years of experience communicating project information and status to multiple stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Responsibilities
