About The Position

The Senior Azure DevOps Engineer designs, develops, and implements cloud infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure using established architectural patterns, templates, and technical guidance. The role builds and maintains reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and no-code infrastructure packages using Terraform Enterprise and HashiCorp Configuration Language (HCL), translating specifications from Solution Architects and Business Analysts into standardized, automated solutions. The engineer configures and optimizes CI/CD pipelines, develops automated infrastructure tests, and troubleshoots Azure, Terraform, and pipeline issues. The role also supports continuous improvement of infrastructure automation, collaborates across architecture and engineering teams, documents work and shares knowledge, and uses AI tools to improve everyday workflows and work quality. The position offers remote or hybrid work options.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement cloud infrastructure solutions within Microsoft Azure using established architectural patterns, templates, and technical guidance.
Build and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code modules and no-code infrastructure packages using Terraform Enterprise and HCL.
Translate technical specifications and implementation guidance from Solution Architects and Business Analysts into standardized, automated infrastructure solutions.
Configure, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and JFrog Artifactory.
Develop and execute automated infrastructure tests using Go and TerraTest to validate Terraform modules, configurations, and deployments.
Create reusable Terraform templates and deployment packages that enable infrastructure provisioning with minimal manual configuration or coding.
Troubleshoot Azure infrastructure, Terraform configuration, and CI/CD pipeline issues.
Use AI tools, including Claude, to streamline tasks and improve work quality; share best practices and seek new ways to incorporate AI into workflows.
Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and engineering teams to align infrastructure implementations with technical requirements and architectural standards.
Use JIRA and Confluence to track implementation activities, document technical configurations, and maintain knowledge-sharing resources.
Identify and implement improvements to Terraform module reusability, deployment consistency, and CI/CD efficiency.
