The Senior IT Project Manager plans, executes, and finalizes projects for the firm.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 8 years of information technology experience
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in area of systems/network/information security
  • At least 3 years’ executive level engagement and customer service
  • At least 3 years’ Agile, SCRUM or waterfall/agile hybrid experience

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional [PMP] certification
  • At least 5 years’ of experience in a professional services or legal environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional project teams and resources responsible for successful delivery and completion of complex initiatives
  • Manage project team performance, set clear goals, and foster continuous professional development in project delivery practices
  • Define project scope, goals, timelines, and resources required; identify the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals within deadlines and budgets
  • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Drive project teams through adoption of the solution development life cycle (SDLC) through coaching and articulation of process value
  • Drive complex and high priority projects through SDLC stages/phases while informing proper stakeholder bodies of progress
  • Create artifacts and documentation as needed, such as a project charter, project plan/schedule, deployment/rollout strategy and other project management deliverables to summarize scope, schedule, and budget
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, documentation, and presentations
  • Conduct project kickoffs, postmortems and other project related meetings
  • Assist with capturing requirements, analyzing data and defining operational procedures
  • Facilitate coordination and collaboration between department stakeholders, project leadership and team members
  • Apply critical thinking to contribute on solutions to processes and technology
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate issues/risks and manage scope/budget changes effectively
  • Work beyond scheduled hours as required
  • Handle additional related projects as necessary
