About The Position
We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for our Quality Lab to lead complex IT projects, ensuring high performance and compliance standards. This role involves planning, executing, and delivering IT projects within the quality lab environment, managing schedules, budgets, and resources. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and implement quality assurance processes for IT systems. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role also entails leading project teams, fostering continuous improvement, and driving the adoption of best practices in IT project management. Additionally, the Project Manager will prepare project status reports and manage vendor relationships related to IT quality lab projects. Experience in managing Document Management Systems (DMS) is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
- 7+ years of experience in IT project management, focusing on quality assurance
- Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and quality assurance processes
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and risk management
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in complex IT environments
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
- Knowledge of GxP regulatory compliance
- Experience with DMS solutions
