About The Position

Dexter Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager – Applications for a Direct Hire position in Columbia City, IN. This role is hybrid, requiring 4 days onsite per week. The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing applications, software development project implementations, custom built, COTS and SaaS solutions, upgrades, Cloud migrations and integrations. The role involves managing milestones, issues, risks, and driving the team to meet project goals, while partnering with leadership and stakeholders to align ongoing efforts. The position also includes managing budgets, forecasts, and vendor teams, ensuring alignment with IT strategy, and implementing project governance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or relevant experience
10+ years of managing initiatives in digital environment preferably in manufacturing area
Advanced knowledge of IT standards, policies and procedures
Advanced knowledge of Traditional and Agile frameworks
Proficient working with technology platforms
Strong Decision Making, Collaboration, conflict management, facilitation skills
Excellent experience in dealing with C-level executives
Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
Ability to drive deliverables through completion and hold team members accountable for their work
Ability to identify potential risks and provide proactive mitigations
Positive can-do attitude, solutions-oriented and willingness to extend beyond day-to-day project manager responsibilities
Strong ability in Interpersonal Communication, Problem Solving, Forward Thinking, Influencing Stakeholders

M&A experience and experience with integration is desired
Experience with CRM implementation is a plus
Experience with ERP implementation is a plus
Experience in managing Infrastructure projects is a plus
PMP and / or CSM certifications are highly desirable

Responsibilities

Strong Project Management experience with good understanding of Agile frameworks.
Experience Managing Applications, software development project implementations, custom built, COTS and SaaS solutions, upgrades, Cloud migrations and integrations.
Experience in Scrum project management with good understanding of traditional framework.
Responsible for all aspects of a project including managing milestones, identifying and tracking issues and risks, and driving the team to meet project goals.
Partner with leadership and stakeholders to align ongoing efforts.
Contributing to the team by participating in solution definition and removing roadblocks.
Establishing strong relationships with IT and business stakeholders.
Managing budgets, forecasts and vendor teams; Coordinates vendor selection and contracting.
Ensuring alignment of project objectives with the overall IT strategy and roadmap.
Ensures project or framework specific governance is implemented.
