About The Position

Tryfacta is seeking a Senior IT Enterprise Application Analyst for our client in Los Angeles, CA 90012. This is a temporary contract assignment. The role involves supporting Financial, Project Accounting, Inventory, and Procurement modules in Oracle EBS version R12.2, requiring technical and functional knowledge of business processes, configurations, and Oracle tools & technologies. The position is responsible for working with business users to understand requirements, configure setups, design, build, integrate, and implement solutions, including implementing new functionalities and participating in application upgrades. The analyst will also troubleshoot software application problems, identify and implement system improvements, and develop user and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and six years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and six years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of Information Technology.
• Knowledge of operational characteristics, methods, and techniques to analyze, design, develop, test, and implement applications.
• Knowledge of tuning queries and reports; dynamic reports using multiple parameters.
• Knowledge of database security.
• Knowledge of technical framework for Enterprise Resource Planning and Human Resources systems to modify or extend functionality and integration with other applications.
• Knowledge of web services and different messaging protocols to develop and communicate data with clients and other applications.
• Knowledge of Information Technology methods and procedures, including systems life cycles and applications development.
• Knowledge of business knowledge of multiple modules.
• Knowledge of current office technology and equipment.
• Ability to provide technical system support across multiple modules.
• Ability to understand integration with other applications.
• Ability to respond, diagnose, and resolve problems.
• Ability to analyze requirements, design, test, and implement system applications.
• Ability to provide training.
• Ability to plan and carry out a variety of assignments to meet business objectives under established guidelines.

• 3 years' experience in Module: Project and grants management.
• Experience with Tools: OAF, Java, JDeveloper, Workflow, PL/SQL, SQL, APEX, Oracle Forms & Reports and BI/XML Publisher.
• Valid California Class C Driver License that allows you to drive in the course of your employment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Financial, Project Accounting, Inventory, and Procurement modules in Oracle EBS version R12.2 with technical and functional knowledge on business processes, configurations, and Oracle tools & technologies.
• Working with business users to understand business requirements, configure setups, design, build, integrate and implement solutions.
• Implementing new functionalities and participating in upgrading applications.
• Supporting Financial, Project & Grant Accounting, Inventory, and Procurement modules in Oracle EBS and participating in upgrades and other projects.
• Supporting Oracle EBS production issues & enhancements & projects.
• Performing technical configurations, customizations, and extends commercial off-the-shelf enterprise resource planning software in three or more modules and stand-alone applications.
• Defining, designing, developing, and deploying enhancements and reports utilizing three or more modules and stand-alone applications; ensuring compliance with applicable specifications and standards.
• Providing resolution to tickets having significant impact with high visibility to multiple customers requiring lengthy or involved installation; may require action by several groups, multiple releases against one ticket, and complex back out procedures.
• Troubleshooting software application problems; identifying, recommending, and implementing system improvements, modifications, and upgrades involving three or more modules and stand-alone applications.
• Developing user and technical documentation and providing training to system users.
• Researching, evaluating, testing and implementing patches and system upgrades involving three or more modules and stand-alone applications.
• Participating in professional group meetings; staying abreast of new trends and innovations in their area of responsibility.
• Acting as Project Manager; planning, coordinating, and conducting projects within area of responsibility, including monitoring scope, quality, budget, and schedule.
• Performing other related Information Technology Enterprise Application Analyst job duties as required.
