About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Enterprise Applications Analyst to support a complex Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 environment. This role provides both technical and functional support across Financials, Project & Grants Accounting, Inventory, and Procurement modules. The successful candidate will partner with business users to understand requirements, configure applications, develop and integrate solutions, resolve production issues, implement enhancements, and participate in application upgrades and enterprise technology projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in a related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of Oracle EBS R12 development experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on Oracle EBS R12.2 experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of Project & Grants Management/Accounting module experience.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Oracle Financials, Project & Grants Accounting, Inventory, and Procurement.
  • Required hands-on experience with OAF, Java, JDeveloper, Oracle Workflow, PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms & Reports, and BI/XML Publisher.
  • Strong experience configuring, customizing, developing, testing, and implementing enterprise applications.
  • Experience troubleshooting Oracle EBS production issues, enhancements, integrations, patches, and upgrades.
  • Knowledge of ERP technical frameworks, application integrations, web services, messaging protocols, database security, and systems development life cycles.
  • Ability to analyze requirements, diagnose complex application issues, design and implement solutions, and provide technical support across multiple modules.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work directly with business users and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, lead technical efforts, manage multiple priorities, and provide guidance or training to others.
  • Valid California Class C Driver License that permits driving in the course of employment.
  • Must be able to work the required hybrid schedule in Downtown Los Angeles, including onsite work Monday and Tuesday.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa support.
  • No C2C arrangements.
  • Must meet applicable CalPERS eligibility requirements for the assignment.
  • This is a senior-level Oracle EBS position requiring extensive hands-on development experience.
  • Candidates must meet the required education and experience criteria and demonstrate direct professional experience with Oracle EBS R12.2, Project & Grants, and the required Oracle development tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and functional support for Oracle EBS R12.2 applications.
  • Support Financials, Project & Grants Accounting, Inventory, and Procurement modules.
  • Partner with business users to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Configure application setups and develop Oracle EBS customizations and extensions.
  • Design, build, integrate, test, and implement application solutions and new functionality.
  • Develop and deploy enhancements and reports across multiple Oracle EBS modules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Oracle EBS production issues and high-impact support tickets.
  • Analyze application issues and recommend system improvements, modifications, and upgrades.
  • Research, evaluate, test, and implement Oracle patches and system upgrades.
  • Participate in Oracle EBS upgrade initiatives and other enterprise application projects.
  • Develop and maintain technical and user documentation.
  • Provide application guidance and training to system users.
  • Support integrations between Oracle EBS and other enterprise applications.
  • Tune queries and reports and develop dynamic reporting solutions using multiple parameters.
  • Lead and coordinate assigned technology projects, including monitoring scope, quality, budget, schedule, and deliverables.
  • These responsibilities align with the senior classification's responsibility for ERP configuration, customization, enhancements, complex production support, upgrades, documentation, and project leadership.
