About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Business Solutions Group in Halifax, NS. As the most modern shipyard in North America, Irving Shipbuilding is defined by its pace and appetite for change. This role requires someone who can quickly understand complex business challenges, establish trusted relationships with stakeholders, and lead the discovery and delivery of technology-enabled solutions that create measurable business value. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for discovering, synthesizing, and analyzing information from a variety of sources including systems, processes, documentation, data, and stakeholders. They lead complex business analysis initiatives, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions that align business objectives with technology capabilities. In addition to delivering solutions, Senior Business Analysts coach and advise less-experienced Business Analysts and contribute to the evolution of business analysis practices, standards, and capabilities across JDI IT. This position requires full-time on-site presence. All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
