About The Position

Marsh & McLennan Shared Services LLC is seeking candidates for the position of Senior IT Business Analysis Specialist. This role involves planning, developing, and implementing technology- and process-based solutions. The specialist will collaborate with business leaders, clients, and vendors to identify business needs, define process requirements and systems specifications, and implement solutions. Responsibilities include defining requirements, delivering finalized products, handling delivery for Application Development and QA testing, and updating requirement documents throughout the application development life cycle. The role also requires acting as a subject matter expert to guide internal users on product tools for complex survey analytical projects and performing data analysis to evaluate application usage trends and identify improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Management Science, or a related field.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in the position offered or a related position (pre-/post-Master’s experience accepted).
  • Four (4) years of experience managing global development and rollout of enterprise components.
  • Four (4) years of experience leading Agile ceremonies by working with developers, testers, UI/UX designers, POs, and business stakeholders using Azure DevOps.
  • Four (4) years of experience with Scrum board grooming, feature prioritization, managing user story dependency, and documenting action items and feedback every sprint.
  • Four (4) years of experience with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.
  • Four (4) years of experience identifying roadblocks and working with support teams to remove impediments.
  • Four (4) years of experience executing product roadmaps by working with technology stakeholders to finalize product backlog and release plans.
  • Four (4) years of experience managing and spearheading Operational Acceptance Criteria (governance) process to evaluate operational readiness of applications.
  • Four (4) years of experience managing financials and budget for portfolio by projecting forecasts, tracking actuals, and reconciling variance.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and implement technology- and process-based solutions.

  • Define requirements and deliver finalized products after agreement with client and manager.
  • Handle delivery for Application Development and QA testing.
  • Update and maintain requirement documents throughout application development life cycle.
  • Act as subject matter expert, providing guidance and advice to internal application users on specific product tools to properly configure and run moderate to complex survey analytical projects.
  • Run data analysis to evaluate application usage trends and identify improvement opportunities.
