About The Position

Honeywell Aerospace Repair & Overhaul is hiring a Senior ISC Project Management Specialist to support repair and overhaul projects for military and commercial aircraft mechanical components and programs. The position partners with technicians, engineers, and aerospace leaders to plan and execute complex technical projects. It supports an interdisciplinary team in delivering projects successfully, meeting schedules and operational objectives, and satisfying customers. The role requires technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The specialist monitors project progress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards; manages risks; and communicates with stakeholders to promote transparency and collaboration. The position reports directly to the North America R&O Mechanical multi-site leader and is based at the Rocky Mount, North Carolina location. Travel of up to 10% is required to support multiple sites and projects.

Requirements

Experience working in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station and/or aerospace manufacturing environment.
At least 1 year of technical expertise and understanding of project management principles.
Willingness to travel up to 10% to support multiple sites and projects.
Must meet U.S. person requirements: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Support supplier engagement and repair return-to-service activities, working with supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and suppliers to ensure hardware supports program technical and schedule objectives.
Coordinate with test teams to support investigative test yield.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and realize opportunities.
Interface with systems engineers and product engineers to develop, validate, and manage technical requirements.
Support timely project delivery, manage project risks, and maintain communication with stakeholders.
