About The Position

As a Support Engineer at Qualcomm, you will contribute to product improvement and work with other engineers to sustain aspects of the product development life cycle. Support Engineers help resolve technical system issues that promote product reliability. This role provides organizational or development support from initial concept through project completion, including executing modifications and revisions to electronic parts, software, systems, components, or circuitry. The engineer supports other engineers and recommends design approaches, layouts, and parameters for mid-sized projects. The role also involves installing, upgrading, configuring, and helping operate company products or components to specifications, monitoring performance, analyzing moderately complex failures or malfunctions, and suggesting corrective action. The engineer gathers and interprets information from multiple sources and stakeholders to understand specifications and help develop solutions, and collaborates across functions to integrate projects and ensure changes work with related components. The position works independently with minimal supervision; decisions may affect work beyond the immediate work group, and the role has moderate influence over key organizational decisions.
