About The Position
Andium is seeking an experienced senior iOS Engineer to join its growing mobile team. The engineer will design, implement, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and extensible features for the Andium iOS platform, working closely with engineering and product teams to deliver solutions for emissions detection and monitoring technologies. This senior-level role offers the opportunity to shape the iOS application and contribute to the company’s mission.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of iOS development experience at a senior level.
- Proficiency in Swift and a strong understanding of SwiftUI, UIKit, and Swift concurrency.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
- In-depth knowledge of Apple design principles, interface guidelines, and best practices.
- Experience writing unit, functional, and integration/end-to-end tests.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Strong understanding of Git and version control systems.
- Demonstrated experience submitting multiple apps to the App Store and familiarity with the submission process.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with CoreML, Objective-C, Combine Framework, and Core Data.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and cloud messaging APIs for push notifications.
- Basic understanding of the Oil & Gas industry, including operators and production equipment such as flare stacks, compressors, and transfer pumps.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, stabilize, release, and maintain reliable, scalable, and extensible features for the iOS platform.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness through testing and optimization.
- Produce readable, well-documented code that follows industry best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to define and prioritize features.
- Provide detailed work estimates and deliver features on time.
- Use Git, JIRA, and design documents for communication and documentation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for iOS applications and support smooth deployment processes.
