Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in program management, working in a manufacturing environment in aerospace or other highly regulated environments, design reviews, including assessing the ability to verify dimensional requirements GD&T ASME Y14.5 (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), SAP, developing real-time dashboards using Sigma or other similar programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop a high-level quality program plan for powertrain components and coordinate actions and priorities across multiple groups.
• Align direct quality representatives and high touch points with design and supply chain partners.
• Ensure the highest standards of product quality throughout the product lifecycle of the aircraft.
• Oversee design validation, supplier deliverables, manufacturing processes, and regulatory compliance, ensure the delivery of a safe, reliable, and high-quality aircraft to own quality improvements across the Electric Propulsion Unit (EPU) program.
• Serve as a highly collaborative single-point contact for all quality activities within electric propulsion.
• Coordinate and track tactical and strategic quality priorities and risks across design, manufacturing, and flight testing.
• Develop metrics and KPIs to assess and act throughout the EPU program to drive continuous improvement.
• Responsible for the total quality plan of key parts, including supplier, incoming, in-process, and EOL inspection plans, ensure knowledge transfer of supplier quality performance to process quality.
• Oversee and drive progress and closure on all EPU RCCA activities.
• Assist in the planning and process for company inspection in support of FAA and Company conformity inspection and certification process.
