The Senior Integrated Master Scheduler will create and maintain large integrated master schedules (IMS) for satellite programs using Microsoft Project. The role supports satellite development, manufacturing and assembly, integration and test (AI&T), and system-level and mission-integration schedules throughout the program life cycle, from bid and proposal activities through program execution. The scheduler works with supply chain, operations, engineering, program management, finance, and other functional teams to incorporate operational tasks into schedules, keep schedules current, and prepare them for Earned Value Management System (EVMS) implementation. During bid and proposal activities, the scheduler develops schedules responsive to U.S. Government request-for-proposal requirements, supports compliant proposal artifacts and narratives, and coordinates stakeholders to develop work breakdown structures and functional schedules. During program execution, the scheduler manages complex Government and Department of Defense schedules, analyzes schedule performance and risks, delivers contractually required schedule data, and reports status to program management and executive leadership. The role also involves presenting schedule products to customers, recommending improvements, and supporting cost and quality improvement efforts using engineering best practices and lean or Six Sigma tools. The position is based in Merritt Island, Florida. Fully remote candidates located within the United States will also be considered. Occasional international travel to collaborate with European Airbus counterparts is required. U.S. citizenship is required, and the employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance; an active DoD Secret-or-higher clearance is highly desirable.
