About The Position

The Senior Innovation Manager role focuses on executing and optimizing the overall innovation strategies, while mentoring and guiding the Innovation Managers and the innovation teams these Managers supervise.

Requirements

  • Supports and refines the overall Hensel Phelps Enterprise Innovation Strategy in alignment with company goals and industry trends.
  • Reviews and approves the innovation strategies proposed by innovation and strategy managers, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader objectives.
  • Fosters a culture of innovation throughout Hensel Phelps, creating an environment that supports creative thinking and problem solving.
  • Liaises with senior management to ensure innovation strategies are integrated across business units and departments.
  • Develops partnerships with external organizations, industry leaders, clients, trade and design partners, academia, and other entities to further the company's innovation goals.
  • Tracks and reports on effectiveness of implemented innovation strategies, ensuring ROI and other key metrics are met.
  • Mentors and leads innovation managers, ensuring they have the tools, resources and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Stays updated with global trends, competitors, and market changes that may affect the company’s innovation path.
  • Identifies and recommends potential investment opportunities that align with the innovation strategy.

  • Maintains emerging technology databases and support top priority emerging technology, which will impact innovation strategies.
  • Performs other duties assigned that support the overall success of the department and organization.
