About The Position

SHEIN (Style Link Logistics LLC) is seeking a Senior Innovation and Design Specialist II to collaborate with the warehouse management team to understand space utilization requirements. The role involves analyzing current warehouse designs and processes, designing optimized layouts, and ensuring alignment with operational goals. The specialist will conduct feasibility studies, time and motion studies, and implement best practices in warehouse design, including storage solutions, workflow efficiency, and safety standards. Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in warehouse technologies is crucial. The position also requires providing technical support and training to warehouse staff on new layouts and processes, and developing/optimizing warehouse layout designs to maximize storage capacity and streamline material flow. Approximately 20% domestic business travel to IN is required to monitor projects onsite.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or a foreign equivalent in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management or a related field of study.
3 years of postbaccalaureate experience in a job offered, or related job titles.
3 years of experience with warehouse design, planning, and implementation.
3 years of experience with warehouse operations and supply chain management.
3 years of experience creating and implementing optimized warehouse layouts with CAD software and warehouse management system (WMS).
3 years of experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
3 years of experience with safety regulations and standards applied in warehouse environments.
3 years of experience with modern storage solutions (e.g., automated systems, racking systems, and shelving options).
3 years of experience conducting time and motion studies to identify process bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the warehouse management team to understand space utilization requirements.
Analyze current warehouse designs and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Design and develop optimized warehouse layouts.
Collaborate with operations, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure alignment with operational goals.
Conduct feasibility studies for proposed design changes and present findings to management.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in warehouse technologies and methodologies.
Provide technical support and training to warehouse staff on new layouts and processes.
Develop and optimize warehouse layout designs to maximize storage capacity and streamline material flow.
