The Senior Information Governance Manager (SIGM) will lead the Exelixis Records Program, participate in the Exelixis Information Governance Committee, and provide Litigation and eDiscovery project support. The role involves a practical, hands-on, risk-based approach to developing the Records Program to meet the Company’s growth and needs. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing policies and employee training, managing enterprise records vendors, collaborating with IT on long-term data preservation, maintaining the physical laboratory notebook archive, and monitoring Record Program compliance. The SIGM will also serve as an active member of the cross-functional Information Governance Committee, representing Legal’s interests in record-related topics and collaborating with IT on enterprise systems of record. Additionally, the role will support litigation discovery, including Legal Hold management, internal factual research, and the transfer of eDiscovery and physical media. The position also entails leading training activities and developing educational resources on records, IG, data management, and legal education topics.
