Senior Immigration Specialist-HR International Personnel-Mount Sinai Health System-Full Time-Days
About The Position
The Senior Immigration Specialist must be able to work in an environment that deals with immigration policies and regulations which are continuously evolving. This position contributes to the development of immigration processes by providing strategic oversight that will enhance best practices and improve the team's overall efficiency. The Senior Immigration Specialist will respond to correspondence with The Department of State, The Department of Homeland Security and other related governmental agencies for any issues or concerns regarding a non-immigrant visa category. Supports the hospital policies and procedures on U.S. visa application process, understands current requirements, and remains abreast on recent developments and carrying out the responsibilities of the Exchange Visitor Program. This individual reports to the Senior Associate Dean, International Personnel in Human Resources.
Requirements
- Ability to work in an environment with continuously evolving immigration policies and regulations.

- Knowledge of U.S. visa application processes.
- Familiarity with current immigration requirements.
- Understanding of recent developments in immigration law.
