About The Position

Technology has an important role to play in improving experiences and outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, students and communities. The University of Sydney is seeking a Senior ICT Business Partner, embedded in ICT to work alongside the Indigenous Strategy & Services portfolio, building trusted relationships and translating strategic priorities into practical technology outcomes. Joining at an important time of transformation, you will help strengthen the way Indigenous Strategy & Services engages with ICT and ensure technology priorities are understood, supported and progressed across the University. As Senior ICT Business Partner – Indigenous Strategy & Services, you will become a trusted technology advisor and a key connection point between the portfolio and ICT. Working closely with Indigenous leaders, Associate Deans, academics and professional staff, you will take the time to understand their priorities, challenges and opportunities. You will then connect stakeholders with the right ICT expertise and help shape clear, practical and achievable technology responses. The role combines strategic partnership with operational delivery. You may be working with senior leaders to identify longer-term technology priorities, helping resolve an immediate issue or bringing together ICT teams to progress an initiative. Your focus will be on building confidence, creating clarity and ensuring stakeholder needs are understood throughout the technology lifecycle.
