Senior HVAC Mechanic
About The Position
The Senior HVAC Mechanic works under general direction to inspect, test, maintain, repair, calibrate, and install mechanical refrigeration and equipment, air conditioning, heating, compressed air, and vacuum systems. The position is with the Harold Hamm Health Campus at the University of Oklahoma in downtown Oklahoma City. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST. Some on-call work, weekends, snow and ice duty, and overtime may be required. The employee may be designated as essential personnel during emergency campus closures. Travel is not required.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, Vo-Tech, or trade school certification.
- 24 months of refrigeration experience.
- Current State of Oklahoma HVAC License.
- Federal EPA refrigeration certification.
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License to drive University vehicles, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
