The HR Specialist is responsible for the end‑to‑end administration, coordination, and execution of workforce reduction activities across the enterprise, including individual role eliminations, group reductions, and location closures. This role serves as the operational owner for RIF systems, severance calculations, documentation, dashboards, and day‑of execution readiness. The Specialist partners closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Legal, Payroll, IT, Asset Protection, Information Security, and other critical stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant, and seamless execution of associate notifications and post‑notification activities. This role ensures HRBPs and leaders are equipped with timely, accurate severance information to support associates with clarity, consistency, and respect during workforce transitions. This role requires strong system proficiency, exceptional attention to detail, and demonstrated experience supporting reductions in force, including union populations. Over time, this role may expand to support global RIF and severance administration.
