About The Position

mpathic is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in early-stage, high-growth startup environments and is passionate about building processes, systems, and programs to support company growth. The Senior HR Generalist will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to manage the recruiting, employee, and contractor life cycle, and to build the infrastructure necessary for scaling. This is a full-time, remote-friendly position with a preference for candidates in Seattle or with overlap in the Pacific Time Zone, offering a clear growth path within the company.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition experience
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem solving abilities, with a bias for action
  • Proven ability to navigate and thrive in ambiguous and ever-changing environments.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver results.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead recruiting and hiring talent pipelines to support growth, focusing on efficiency and values alignment.
  • Develop a comprehensive onboarding process for new hires.
  • Execute processes and strategies to manage the external expert and contractor base.
  • Create a roadmap of programs, strategies, and processes for Human Resources to accelerate growth and help the company scale.
  • Identify and implement performance management processes.
  • Review and implement best practices for recruiting, hiring, and onboarding FTEs and contractors.
  • Draft and implement a comprehensive compensation philosophy and program.
  • Implement scalable systems across the organization.
  • Ensure employees can achieve success and receive appropriate trainings.
  • Develop scalable processes in all stages of an employee life cycle.
  • Ensure the company is fully compliant with laws and regulations.
  • Develop in-house resources and tools for managers.
  • Partner with department heads to recruit top priority roles and roll out management tools and resources.
