About The Position

The Senior Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in aligning HR practices with business goals and key performance indicators. This position designs and recommends HR policies and procedures, drives improvements in business objectives, and provides comprehensive support across training and development, employee engagement and retention, employee relations, and overall employee services. The role requires a hands-on, data-driven professional who can support a manufacturing or production environment and partner effectively with leaders and employees across multiple shifts.

Requirements

5 to 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
Experience supporting a manufacturing or production environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel analytics and PowerPoint presentations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create reports, policies, procedures, and business correspondence.
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate with employees and leaders at all levels.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency.
Ability to support multiple shifts as business needs require.
Experience with data entry in HR systems.
Customer service mindset in delivering HR support.
Hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, and employee relations.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Manage employee relations activities, including coaching, conflict resolution, and issue investigation, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
Oversee overall employee services, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional support for employees at all levels.
Support recruitment activities, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, to ensure a strong pipeline of talent for a manufacturing or production environment.
Administer and support payroll-related processes in coordination with relevant teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Handle onboarding processes to ensure new hires receive a smooth and comprehensive introduction to the organization.
Maintain accurate HR data entry and records, including employee information, training records, and performance documentation.
Provide customer service-oriented HR support, responding to employee questions and concerns with professionalism and confidentiality.
Ensure compliance with HR principles, employment laws, and company policies, and keep documentation and practices up to date.
Prepare reports, policies, procedures, and business correspondence using Microsoft Office tools, including advanced Excel analytics and PowerPoint presentations.
Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while supporting multiple shifts as business needs require.
Collaborate effectively with leaders and employees across departments to address HR needs and support operational goals.
