Overview: Sr. Generalist will oversee all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, HRIS management, compliance, and strategic HR initiatives. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on HR operations, employee relations, and strategic HR initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the selection process.
• Partner with hiring managers to forecast staffing needs and develop workforce plans to support business objectives.
• Lead employer branding initiatives to enhance Sure Steel's reputation as an employer of choice.
• Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related issues.
• Lead investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote positive employee relations and a culture of open communication and collaboration.
• Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on benefits-related matters and provide guidance to employees on benefit options and enrollment.
• Manage the HRIS system and ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, and benefits data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Update and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to reflect changes in regulations and best practices.
• Lead or participate in HR projects and strategic initiatives to support departmental goals and business objectives.
• Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
• Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
