About The Position

The Senior HR Generalist supports manufacturing operations in Streetsboro, Ohio by providing comprehensive human resources services. This role partners closely with management and employees to foster a positive workplace culture, ensure compliance with employment laws, and drive initiatives that support organizational goals. The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for implementing company HR programs and initiatives, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration, playing a key role in supporting both hourly and salaried staff within a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Combine and track all hiring needs for the businesses in coordination with the Talent Acquisition team. May participate in candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires along with HR Generalist team as needed.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for other HR Generalist on team, employees and supervisors, addressing workplace concerns, conducting investigations, and facilitating conflict resolution.
  • Support other HR Generalist with managers in administering performance reviews, goal setting, and development plans. Assist in identifying training needs and organizing learning opportunities.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures with HR Generalist team. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and EEO regulations.
  • Assist with payroll processing, benefits enrollment, and responding to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits.
  • Combine and prepare HR reports from other HR Generalist for management, including turnover, attendance, and workforce demographics.
  • Support workplace safety initiatives and assist with workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
  • Participate and lead in HR and cross-functional projects to improve processes and enhance employee engagement.
