About The Position
Southcentral Foundation is expanding its Human Resources team and is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join us. This is an opportunity for an experienced HR professional to serve as a trusted partner to leaders, provide guidance on complex workplace matters, and help drive a positive employee experience across the organization.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and Human Resources experience; OR demonstrated proficiency as a Human Resources Generalist II at SCF.
- Four (4) years of professional human resources experience.
- Professional human resources certification through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), or ability to obtain certification within twelve (12) months of hire.
- Thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of the Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF’s geographical service area.
Responsibilities
- Providing professional-level Human Resources assistance, services, and guidance to designated departments/programs within SCF on a wide scope of Human Resources issues: recruitment and selection, classification, compensation, benefits, training, labor relations or other areas as assigned.
