About The Position

Avient is seeking a strategic, business-minded Senior HR Generalist to support our Specialty Engineered Materials business, with direct responsibility for the global technology team, as well as support for segment HR projects and initiatives. This highly key role offers a unique opportunity to partner directly with business leaders and help drive the HR strategy for a key growth area in the company. Reporting to the Global HR Director, this leader will influence business leaders, coach leaders through challenges, and support a team that is a key strategic driver for growth in the company. The Senior HR Generalist implements and administers Avient's human resources services, policies, and programs. This position partners with business teams to guide decision making processes and positively impacts the results of the organization by recruiting, retaining, rewarding, and developing the industry's best talent in a manner that is cost-efficient and compliant. The Sr. HR Generalist will work directly with Global HR Director to support specific client groups, projects and tasks as needed.
