About The Position

The Senior HR Business partner acts as a strategic liaison between HR and the Global Service (GS) organization of 900+ global employees. Creates and implements HR strategies aligned with business objectives, provides guidance on HR policies and practices, and fosters a culture of employee engagement and development.

Requirements

  • Degree in related field or equivalent experience desired
  • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of Human Resources and knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Must have the confidence to influence all levels of leadership and provide guidance to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.
  • Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
  • Has the confidence to influence and knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies for all levels of employees up to and including the GS Vice President; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
  • Knowledge of the rights and obligations in the employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.
  • Knowledge of HR approaches, tools and techniques; ability to inform, guide and advise managers in HR-related initiatives.
  • Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with Global Service senior management as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Aligning HR policies and programs for GS which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Acting as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.
  • Analyzing HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
