About The Position

GlobalMed Logistix (GMLx) is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to support the company’s continued growth across functions, with a focus on operational excellence and scalability. This role serves as a strategic advisor to leadership while overseeing day-to-day HR operations through one direct report. The Senior HR Business Partner will partner with leaders to develop and implement people strategies aligned with GMLx’s culture, performance goals, and growth objectives. Responsibilities include workforce planning, talent acquisition oversight, employee relations, and organizational development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 6–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience in an HR Business Partner or similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior leadership on people strategies and organizational initiatives
  • Experience supporting both strategic HR initiatives and hands-on operational execution
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning
  • Solid understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring direct reports preferred
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced, or operationally focused environments (e.g., logistics, healthcare, or similar industries) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives, growth, and operational effectiveness
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives
  • Oversee full-cycle talent acquisition strategy, ensuring effective hiring processes for both high-volume and critical roles
  • Lead and mentor one HR team member responsible for day-to-day HR operations, providing guidance, prioritization, and development
  • Ensure consistent execution of core HR processes including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and offboarding
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and systems across all locations
  • Manage and resolve employee relations matters, providing coaching to managers and ensuring fair, consistent practices
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning
  • Partner with leadership to strengthen employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making and improve organizational effectiveness
  • Lead or support key HR initiatives related to organizational growth, integration, and change
