About The Position

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Senior HRIS Specialist to support North America’s HR strategy and initiatives. The role supports implementation of Workday HCM capabilities—including Benefits, Compensation, Absence Management, Time Management, and Payroll—while maintaining and evolving existing HRIS systems, transitioning to new technologies, and implementing a new operating model. The specialist influences business and technology design decisions, serves as a subject matter expert with external vendors, and partners with HR, Information Management, and Legal teams to support compliance with regulations, data security, privacy requirements, and local constraints. The position reports to the Head of HRIS for North America and is based at one of several listed locations, with an 80% onsite and 20% remote arrangement and 5% domestic and international travel. The role oversees HR systems and their administration, development, maintenance, upgrades, configuration, testing, and support. It contributes to the HRIS roadmap for Workday, ServiceNow, and other technologies; analyzes business requirements and recommends system solutions; supports audits and regulatory compliance; and manages vendor relationships, releases, issues, tickets, and end-user education. The specialist develops HR reports and analytics, maintains HR databases and organizational structures, audits data quality, and identifies opportunities for automation and process improvement. The position also manages product and project work across North America, translates business needs into projects, supports implementations and post-go-live optimization, and collaborates with HR operations, IT, Compensation, managers, and global data governance teams. The job requires current authorization to work in the United States; the company states it does not sponsor visas for U.S. positions unless specified.
