About The Position

Menlo Security is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to be the strategic and operational owner of their entire HR technology stack. This role involves managing the HRIS, ATS (Ashby), HR ticketing system, and future tools. The analyst will bring a data architecture mindset, lead integration decisions, and proactively provide workforce insights to drive business decisions. The position requires a high degree of independence, setting the direction for technology and data usage within the People team, and anticipating future issues. This role is ideal for someone energized by owning a complex, interconnected tech stack and partnering strategically with HR leadership.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in HR systems administration and people analytics.
  • Demonstrated ownership of an enterprise HRIS platform (e.g., Rippling, BambooHR, HiBob, or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience managing an ATS (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse, or Lever).
  • Direct experience architecting and managing system integrations across a multi-tool HR stack.
  • Experience building people analytics dashboards in Tableau or a comparable BI tool.
  • Experience leading HRIS or HR tech implementation projects.
  • Technology leadership mindset: understanding system connections, data flow, and building scalable HR tech stacks.
  • Ability to operate independently.
  • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable setting direction on HR technology strategy in partnership with HR leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SQL or data pipeline tooling.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for analytics and automation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Human Resources, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full HR technology stack, including HRIS, ATS (Ashby), HR ticketing system, and any additional platforms.
  • Serve as the system administrator for all HR tools, ensuring data integrity, user access, configuration, and optimal performance.
  • Own all integrations across the HR tech stack, including architecture decisions, maintenance of data feeds, and developing a roadmap for automation.
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of new HR technology, providing recommendations on build vs. buy, integration complexity, and scalability.
  • Manage manual data entry for non-integrated systems as an interim solution while driving automation.
  • Act as the escalation point for system issues and complex tool questions from HR partners, managers, and employees.
  • Own the people analytics function, building and maintaining dashboards and reports in Tableau and other tools for HR leadership and business partners.
  • Proactively surface data insights, identifying patterns, flagging risks, and providing analysis to leadership.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate analytics, automate reporting, and improve data efficiency.
  • Fulfill compliance data requests from Legal, GRC, Finance, and HR leadership accurately and quickly.
  • Build self-service reporting to reduce ad-hoc data requests and empower the People team.
  • Own Ashby configuration, workflows, and data integrity to support an efficient recruiting process.
  • Partner with HR leadership and recruiting stakeholders to optimize Ashby workflows, reporting, and integrations.
  • Ensure clean data flow between Ashby and the HRIS for accurate new hire records.
  • Ensure the HRIS accurately reflects onboarding, offboarding, and employment changes across all regions.
  • Partner with Finance and IT to ensure reliable cross-system data flows and troubleshoot integration failures.
  • Continuously identify manual processes, reporting, and data quality issues for automation and improvement.
  • Set standards for People team data documentation, maintenance, and scaling.
  • Contribute to broader People Ops projects and support HR leadership decisions through technology and data.
