About The Position

The Senior HR Technology Analyst for Hourly Compensation joins GM’s HR Solutions Enablement team, which builds scalable, cohesive HR solutions and provides Tier 2 support to business users. The role designs, configures, and maintains complex Workday hourly compensation processes across multiple countries and facilities with distinct requirements. It combines consultative problem-solving, end-to-end execution, and influence across teams to deliver accurate, compliant, auditable, and scalable solutions that improve system effectiveness, user experience, and operational scalability. The analyst serves as a Workday subject-matter expert and solution designer, translating hourly wage structures, step-progression rules, premiums, allowances, collective bargaining agreements, legislation, and compensation policies into sustainable configurations. The role partners with HR, Compensation, Payroll, Labor Relations, Technology, Integration, Reporting, and Analytics stakeholders. It may occasionally require work outside standard hours to support global stakeholders and critical projects. The position is based remotely. Candidates who live within a specified distance of a GM hub are expected to report to that location three times a week or at another frequency set by their manager. The role is not eligible for relocation benefits, and GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship.
