About The Position

As the Senior HR Business Partner / HR Manager, you will partner closely with the Head of Operations and site leaders to drive performance through people. You’ll lead the HR function on-site, delivering both strategic initiatives and hands-on support in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ HR generalist experience, ideally in manufacturing or high-volume environments
• Strong knowledge of US employment law and HR best practices
• Proven ability to influence, challenge, and partner with senior leaders
• Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on
• Experience leading teams and delivering results through others
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Experience with HRIS systems and recruitment platforms

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership to drive a high-performance, accountable culture
• Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and succession strategies
• Deliver engagement initiatives and embed company values across the site
• Manage HR budgets and align people strategies with business goals
• Ensure compliance with US labor laws (OSHA, FMLA, EEOC)
• Oversee employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution
• Lead HR policy development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support audits (e.g., SMETA) and external stakeholder engagement
• Lead, coach, and develop the site HR team
• Build capability across people managers through coaching and guidance
• Oversee recruitment strategy and workforce planning
• Drive performance management and talent development frameworks
• Champion learning, multi-skilling, and career progression initiatives
• Promote a “safety-first” culture in partnership with site leaders
• Support food safety (HACCP, GMP) and workplace safety compliance
