About The Position

The Senior HR Benefits Administrator will provide hands-on support across US Benefits activities during a period of significant organizational transformation and change. This senior-level professional will independently manage Benefits workstreams and complex transition activities while partnering with Total Rewards, HR, Payroll, Legal, HR Operations, project teams, external advisors, brokers, and Benefits vendors. The role will support initiatives including Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestitures, Benefits harmonization, Open Enrollment, vendor transitions, retirement/401(k) implementation, and employee communications. The ideal candidate will have strong US Benefits experience, enterprise-level HCM experience, excellent project management skills, and the ability to independently drive complex initiatives with limited day-to-day supervision. Workday HCM experience is preferred.

Requirements

  • Senior-level, hands-on experience in US HR Benefits administration.
  • Experience independently managing Benefits workstreams, complex projects, and transformation initiatives, with the ability to drive deliverables to completion with limited supervision.
  • Experience supporting Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Divestitures, Benefits harmonization, organizational change, and workforce transitions.
  • Experience with Benefits vendor management, vendor implementation and transitions, including working with multiple Benefits vendors, brokers, and external advisors.
  • Experience supporting Open Enrollment and broader US Benefits programs.
  • Experience preparing employee Benefits communications and communicating project status, risks, and key updates to stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting retirement / 401(k) implementation and transition activities.
  • Enterprise-level HCM experience required; Workday HCM experience preferred.
  • Strong project management, organizational, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to manage project plans, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Strong ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and appropriately escalate matters requiring leadership decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR, Payroll, Legal, HR Operations, Total Rewards, business/project teams, brokers, vendors, and external advisors.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, transformational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage US Benefits workstreams related to business transformation, organizational changes, workforce transitions, and complex projects.
  • Support Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (M&A), including Benefits harmonization and transition activities.
  • Support Open Enrollment and broader US Benefits initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee Benefits transitions, vendor implementations, data validation, and employee communications.
  • Manage activities involving 25+ Benefits vendors, including insurance, claims, EAP/EAS programs, and other Benefits providers.
  • Support retirement and 401(k) implementation and transition activities.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, risks, dependencies, milestones, and key deliverables.
  • Proactively drive project activities and deliverables through completion.
  • Partner closely with HR, Payroll, Legal, HR Operations, Total Rewards, business/project teams, brokers, external advisors, and Benefits vendors.
  • Prepare concise project status updates and communicate progress, risks, and issues.
  • Identify and escalate issues requiring leadership decisions.
  • Prepare clear and effective employee Benefits communications.
  • Provide hands-on support across the broader US Benefits portfolio based on business priorities.
  • Take ownership of assigned deliverables and independently manage competing priorities.
