This position is responsible for the administration of all benefits and retirement programs including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability, wellness program, employee assistance program, worker's compensation, and 403(b) plan. The Benefits Administrator ensures accurate benefit enrollments in HRIS, providing vendors precise eligibility data. They administer comprehensive benefits and retirement programs, manage and administer complete processes for leaves of absence, and process plan changes for qualifying life events. The role also coordinates and manages worker’s compensation claims, oversees and administers the Paid Time Off (PTO) leave donation program, and audits, reconciles, and maintains the accuracy and compliance of benefit deduction codes within payroll systems. A key responsibility is ensuring organizational compliance with federal regulations, leading annual open enrollment activities, and updating and distributing required annual notices. The Benefits Administrator also leads benefit deduction management as the primary liaison between Human Resources and Payroll departments, coordinates retirement deductions for 403(b) retirement plans, and conducts HRIS and payroll system audits. They are responsible for configuring and testing open enrollment systems to ensure accurate benefit deduction calculations and system functionality.
