About The Position

Peraton is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to facilitate the government customer's management of a large High Performance Computing (HPC) related program. This program is on the cutting edge and includes everything from HPC test planning and execution, architecture design and prototyping, and vendor outreach and collaboration support. Program technical areas include commercial cloud technologies, high performance computing, and enterprise architecture. The program is tactically important to the national security of the United States and the work on these missions are frequently recognized for their results and the Program Integrator will be directly involved in ensuring the government is successful in achieving their planned objectives of this growing, high-profile program. The Systems Engineer will provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of all components of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessment and management, as well as end-to-end flow analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of relevant systems engineering experience.
  • Master’s degree OR PhD in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of relevant systems engineering experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of relevant systems engineering experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive high performance computing experience sufficient to analyze HPC system performance.
  • Experience transitioning applications to the cloud.

Responsibilities
