About The Position
One Medical is a primary care solution focused on making quality care more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable through in-office and virtual care, on-site labs, and preventive, chronic, acute, and mental health services. One Medical joined Amazon in February 2023. One Medical Seniors provides relationship-based primary care, particularly for adults on Medicare and patients who may need additional attention. Its care model includes smaller patient panels, team-based support, and technology designed to improve outcomes. One Medical is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its growing outpatient practice in Shoreline, Washington. The clinician will work closely with the medical director in care delivery and ongoing practice innovation, providing primary care in a value-based care environment. The role includes access to a team-based practice setting, leadership that values clinician input and work/life balance, and weekly protected time for provider team building and discussion of challenging cases. The work schedule may change based on business direction.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of primary care experience.
- Currently licensed, or able to obtain licensure, in Washington state.
- Ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively one-on-one and in groups.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, mission-driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes.
- Board certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care in an outpatient setting.
- Partner with the care team and use coaching and integrated behavioral health models to engage geriatric patients in care and support behavior change.
- Use One Medical’s proprietary Electronic Health Record to plan individual patient care and maximize impact across the patient population.
- Participate in weekly protected provider time for team building and discussion of challenging cases.
