About The Position

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Hardware Support Specialist with break/fix support and installation experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. This role oversees team installations, assists with day-to-day functions, maintains records and audits of equipment, spacing, and spare parts inventories, and provides recommendations for supply reorder. The specialist ensures proper installation practices and procedures are met by using best practices and oversees the break/fix support process. They complete more technical aspects of the break/fix process, recommend solutions, and help coordinate changes, schedules, and monitor repairs while working with Business Lines to find adequate times for replacement. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, or Technical or vocational certification
  • At least 5 years experience with installing, relocating, and maintaining computing hardware, such as monitors, small CPU's, and printers.
  • At least 5 years experience within a total information technology (IT) environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees team installations and assists where and when needed with day-to-day functions.

  • Helps ensure proper installation practices and procedures are met adequately and consistently by using best practices.
  • Oversees break/fix support process.
  • Completes more technical aspects of break/fix process and recommends solutions.
  • Helps coordinate changes, schedules, and monitors repairs while working with Business Lines to find an adequate time for replacement.
