About The Position

Hyundai Motor America is seeking a strategic and people-focused Senior Group Manager, Talent Management to lead enterprise-wide talent management, employee engagement, and internal communications initiatives. This role is responsible for developing and executing programs that strengthen organizational capability, enhance the employee experience, support leadership development, and foster a high-performing culture. The Senior Group Manager will partner closely with HR leadership, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive talent strategies that support organizational growth, employee retention, engagement, and communication across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • 10+ years of Human Resources experience in talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, or communications.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide talent and engagement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of talent management and employee development.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders and executives.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and change management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Manage multiple priorities while meeting business objectives
  • Client-focused, business partnering, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work both strategically and operationally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create momentum and foster organizational change.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Solid sense of confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead talent management programs including performance management, succession planning, talent reviews, career and leadership development, and training initiatives.
  • Develop talent strategies aligned with business objectives and workforce needs.
  • Partner with leaders and HRBPs to identify talent needs and create development plans for key employees.
  • Drive employee growth, career mobility, leadership readiness, and continuous learning.
  • Utilize talent analytics and workforce insights to support organizational decision-making.
  • Develop and execute engagement strategies to strengthen culture, improve employee satisfaction, and support retention.
  • Lead engagement surveys, focus groups, pulse surveys, and action planning.
  • Analyze engagement data and implement organizational improvements.
  • Oversee recognition, inclusion, well-being, and employee experience programs.
  • Lead internal communication strategies that inform, engage, and connect employees.
  • Partner with executive leadership to communicate business priorities, organizational changes, culture initiatives, and talent programs.
  • Oversee employee communication channels and support change management initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on talent, engagement, organizational effectiveness, and communications.
  • Lead the Talent Management team, manage budgets, vendor relationships, and external partnerships.
  • Serve as the main HMC talent management contact, support executive leadership requests, and maintain a professional, ethical, high-performance work environment.
