At HDR, our employee-owners are fully engaged in creating a welcoming environment where each of us is valued and respected, a place where everyone is empowered to bring their authentic selves and novel ideas to work every day. As we foster a culture of inclusion throughout our company and within our communities, we constantly ask ourselves: What is our impact on the world? In the role of Groundwater Modeler/Hydrogeologist we'll count on you to work under more-senior modelers, using prescribed methods in various data analysis and modeling assignments as part of hydrodynamic, sediment transport and water quality modeling projects. You will evaluate thermal impacts, pathogens, biochemical (BOD) dissolved oxygen, nutrients and algae, or organic or metal contamination in lakes, streams, rivers, estuaries or coastal waters. You will acquire, organize and analyze environmental data, set up and execute mathematical models, and perform quality-control checks on model input and results. You will also participate in project meetings, proposal preparation, report writing and presentations, and develop statistical and graphical comparisons of model results and data. Perform other duties as needed.
