About The Position

Own a portfolio of DTC and eCommerce Google Ads accounts end to end as strategist, buyer, and direct client contact. Manage accounts with budgets ranging from $5,000 per month to well into six figures. This role includes client communication, account audits and strategy, campaign management, measurement, and diagnosing and fixing issues across the entire funnel. The position has substantial autonomy and influence over how Google Ads is run across the agency, with an emphasis on measurable growth and incrementality rather than relying on blended or last-click metrics. The role spans Merchant Center and product feeds; Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen, and YouTube; landing pages; and conversion tracking. You will audit accounts before making changes, present findings to clients, own client updates and calls, and explain and defend decisions. You are expected to build and ship tools and landing pages as needed, using AI tools as part of your working process. The role is remote and open worldwide, but requires availability for client calls during US Eastern business hours. The remainder of the workday is flexible and judged on output.

Requirements

  • Hands-on Google Ads experience managing meaningful spend for DTC and eCommerce businesses, with results that can be explained using CPA, ROAS, revenue, and specific changes made.
  • Specific experience with Shopping and Performance Max, in addition to Search.
  • Fluency across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen, YouTube, Merchant Center, GA4, and GTM.
  • AI-native working practices, including existing use of Claude or an equivalent tool and the ability to build and ship a landing page with it.
  • Native or near-native English communication skills for frequent client-facing work, explaining and selling ideas, pushing back constructively, and raising issues early.
  • Ability to work US Eastern business hours for client calls.
  • Willingness to own outcomes across the whole account and funnel rather than limiting work to a narrowly defined role.
  • Skepticism toward reported performance metrics and willingness to test incrementality rather than relying on dashboard figures alone.
