About The Position

The Senior Global Accounts Manager is responsible for maximizing Murata's global Hyperscaler/CSP market share and sales opportunities by promoting product growth and providing development, management, and account direction for assigned accounts. This position is accountable for strategic business creation and execution, building a team to deliver on promises, as well as developing account relationships at all organizational levels. The individual has a passion to foster customer satisfaction through trust and high-quality solutions. This is a senior people leadership role with responsibility for a portfolio of strategic accounts, the performance and development of the account team, and coordinated execution across Murata's global organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
  • 15+ years’ sales experience in an electronic-related or other technical industry.
  • Understanding of the global Hyperscaler/ CSP industry.
  • Experience working for a culturally diverse global company.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies as well as the ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve shared objectives without direct authority.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly and visually to diverse audiences.
  • Advanced negotiation and consultative skills, including communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven people-management experience which includes leading direct and indirect reports, developing talent, and managing performance across multiple strategic accounts.
  • Ability to build trust and alignment across cultures, regions, and time zones.
  • Patience and adaptability required to operate effectively in a global organization.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and manages a team supporting multiple strategic accounts, including direct reports and indirect team members; sets priorities, allocates resources, and drives accountability as well as consistent execution across the account portfolio.
  • Leads global cross-functional teams to develop, align, and execute customer account strategies, ensuring coordinated delivery across business units, regions, and functions.
  • Owns the end-to-end execution of global account strategy, driving alignment, accountability, and results across a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Develops and implements business plans to achieve strategic objectives, maximizing sales, revenue, profitability, and Murata’s position in the global Hyperscaler/CSP market.
  • Acts as lead negotiator during global engagements, leveraging strong problem-solving, influence, and communication skills to align internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitates global pricing strategy and coordination with product divisions and overseas affiliates to ensure competitive and consistent market positioning.
  • Drives new product development engagement by coordinating engineering teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring clear, consistent communication with customers.
  • Builds and maintains strong, trust-based relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Leads primary U.S. customer relationships while staying closely engaged with customers’ Asia-based teams as needed, aligning priorities and ensuring timely execution across regions.
  • Partners closely with Murata headquarters in Japan and Greater China and ASEAN teams, communicating effectively and patiently across cultures, organizations, and time zones.
  • Coaches and develops direct and indirect team members, strengthening cross-functional capability and enabling scalable execution across global teams which includes responsibility for goal setting, performance management, career development, and succession planning.
