About The Position

OCT Consulting is seeking a Senior General or Operations Manager to support their federal client. This role involves providing leadership in defining program specifications, meeting project objectives, and implementing operational mission requirements. The position requires conducting analysis, assisting clients in achieving objectives, ensuring deliverable quality, coordinating work efforts, resolving problems, and reporting to senior leadership. The manager will also oversee junior consultants.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.
• A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is required.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience is required.
• Relevant experience includes program/project management, talent acquisition, facilitation, program management toolset implementation, and organizational transformational efforts.
• Of the required years of experience, at least five (5) years must be in support of federal government agencies.
• An active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strictly required.
• Must be able to undergo and successfully complete a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12 qualifying Tier 2 background investigation for Common Access Card (CAC) issuance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the USCG or DHS is preferred.
